友人お勧めのアニメを新幹線移動中に閲覧しようと思い立ち、エンコードしてAndroidにコピーしてみたら急に重くなった。

Media Scannerがサムネイルを生成する処理にCPUが食いつぶされていたようでした、動画を置いたフォルダに .nomedia という名前のファイルを置いて解決

Hiding your files from the Media Scanner

Include an empty file named .nomedia in your external files directory (note the dot prefix in the filename). This will prevent Android’s media scanner from reading your media files and including them in apps like Gallery or Music.

和凛型さんによると一度ギャラリーに登録された後に置くとファイルの実体が消されれちゃうらしいです。
